Review Video & Follow These Instructional Guidelines

Correlative conjunctions are special conjunction pairs used to compare and contrast during writing.  The GrammarSong video “Correlative Conjunctions” has a catchy chorus that highlights the most commonly used correlative conjunctions.  The story line within the video appeals strongly to students. The majority of the song’s verses find the father using correlative conjunctions to order his son around to do chores.  In the final verse, the witty son retaliates by using correlative conjunctions to gain his freedom and his allowance.
